Technology Tools for Today’s Learners

Over the course of 12 modules, participants will focus on optimizing Google Classroom to meet the specific needs of today’s educators. Participants will learn skills and fundamentals of building and using a class in Google Classroom, as well as exploring the different web-based applications attached to Classroom—such as EdPuzzle, YouTube, and others. Participants will learn how to create a Bitmoji Classroom and use it seamlessly with their Google Classroom to post an interactive daily agenda.
Participants will also learn how to create Rubrics for specific assignments and give personalized feedback to students. Additionally, participants will explore the new Practice Forms to administer formative assessments and give instructional feedback for each question. This course will guide new and veteran teachers in understanding their current Google classroom and help them utilize some of the newer aspects of the program to suit their specific needs within the courses that they teach.
