Webquests Updated: Google Tools for Interactive K-12 Learning
Instructor Jessica Zwillinger
Course Number PRDV 72216
This course will be an examination of the WebQuest instructional model, which incorporates both critical thinking and discovery learning in a highly motivational, computer-based format for self-directed research and study. Google Tools, such as Slides, Docs and Sites, are interactive, engaging, and relevant to both teachers and students in today’s classrooms. As such, Google Tools provide an ideal mode of delivery for a WebQuest. Participants will explore existing WebQuests, learn how to create WebQuests using Google Tools, learn how to locate and link vital and varied resources, and develop their own WebQuests for students tailored to their grade level and content area.
