An exploration of strategies and essential skills designed to help educators become effective mentors inthe dynamic landscape of public education. This course emphasizes the importance of open and honest communication, peer observations, classroom management skills, and addressing new teacher stress.  By examining various theoretical frameworks and practical strategies—such as Social Learning Theory, Reflective Practice, and Strengths-Based Coaching—participants will develop the knowledge and skills necessary to become effective mentors and cultivate positive mentoring relationships. Emphasis will be placed on communication skills, goal setting, feedback mechanisms, and fostering a supportive and growth-oriented mentorship culture.
