Teach Like a Writer: Writing for Yourself and with Your Students

A study and practice of various forms of writing. Participants will have an opportunity to hone their own writing and to collaborate in the teaching of writing strategies. In developing their own narrative, comparison and contrast, and argument essays, teachers will create exemplars and models to use in the classroom with their own students. In addition, participants will write portions of papers they actually assign in their own classes. Peer response will be required each week.
